Daniel Bwala, former chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has officially joined the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Bwala had resigned from the APC over the party’s Muslim-Muslim ticket.
Announcing his decision to join the PDP in a tweet on Friday, he said the opposition party provides a clear vision for the country, and has a realistic chance of defeating APC in 2023.
He wrote, “Today I officially joined @OfficialPDPNig for the following reasons;
1. PDP presents a clear vision for one Nigeria
2. PDP is the party with the realistic chance of defeating APC
3. Atiku is the only candidate with superior experience to lead Nigeria out of the woods.”
