Senator Abdullahi Adamu, former governor of Nasarawa State and one of the leading aspirants for the chairmanship position of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has been screened by the party’s screening committee.
Adamu who faces six other contestants as a favourite, at the party’s national convention billed for Saturday, March 26, was screened successfully at the Katsina Governors lodge Asokoro.
He is said to be the favoured candidate of President Muhammadu Buhari, having been reportedly endorsed by the president as consensus candidate.
