Amidst the controversy surrounding the health of President Muhammadu Buhari, his re-election posters, on Tuesday, flooded major roads in Abuja.
The posters, which were carefully pasted and displayed at strategic positions within the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, carry the inscription: ‘Nigerians resolve: Buhari 2019’, along the Central Business District, Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport road, as well as Wuse District of the FCT.
There were shouts of ‘Sai Baba for Life’, as it rented the air of Abuja, on Tuesday night, after the report that he had fully resumed back to work, hit the nation.
While stakeholders had continued to advise that the ailing President forgets about the Presidency for now, and concentrates on his health, some of his Aides and supporters had argued that the President was healthy enough to seek for a second term.

Buhari, who had missed three consecutive Federal Executive Council, FEC, meetings over his health, was also conspicuously absent at the wedding of his grandson, at the weekend, a situation which raised concerns over his health and comments by All Progressives Congress, APC, stakeholders, like the former Interim National Chairman of the party, Bisi Akande.
Akande, in statement issued on Monday, in Osun State, advised those working with the President, to stop feasting on the ill-health of the President.
However, Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amechi, and the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu, had last week, argued that President Buhari would be strong enough to run for a second term in 2019, adding that, he will also win the election once more, as he would be healthy enough to seek re-election.
While Nigerians of different religions are still praying fervently for Buhari to recover from ill-health, his supporters in Benue have also painted major streets of the State capital, Makurdi, with his 2019 Presidential posters.
The posters which were seen pasted on gates and the perimeter fence of the Federal Medical Centre, situated along Ali Akilu road, as well as in other areas of Makurdi metropolis, had the logo of the APC with writing that read, “Nigerians resolve, Buhari 2019, after healing, comes greatness, just believe.”
