Paul Enenche, the senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, on Sunday, warned that the bishops present at the unveiling of Kashim Shettima as the All Progressives Congress (APC) vice presidential candidate won’t escape God’s wrath.
According to Enenche, the bishops would not escape the wrath of God because they mocked Christianity.
About 30 “bishops” were present during Shettima’s unveiling as the running mate to APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu in Abuja.
But, the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, had distanced itself from the bishops, stressing that they were fake and not its members.
However, Enenche accused the bishops of impersonating Christians, hence should be punished.
Addressing his members at the church’s headquarters in Abuja, Enenche said: “Those yeye bishops, those who sent and arranged them, are more useless and worthless; they just paraded some useless vagabonds.
“Just imagine a thing like that happened with the other religion, imagine a Christian wearing the cloth of an Imam? They would call it blasphemy, and lives will be lost.
“They killed a young girl innocently in Sokoto the other time, but we are taking it no more in this country.
“Those demonic bishops won’t go free for mocking Christianity like that. They will never go free for mocking the people of God.
“If the law of the land does not catch up with them, the law of God will catch up with them. That is an impersonation of the highest order.
“Enough is enough; we are taking our country back from the hands of demons and their agents.”
Enenche went on to berate President Muhammadu Buhari’s government over the current state of the nation.
The man of God lambasted the Federal Government over its inability to meet the demands of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU leading to the over five months old strike.
He said the security crisis bedevilling the nation currently was lesser prior to the emergence of the current government.
He said, “It looks like there are some people in collaboration with the powers of hell to finish this country totally.
“The promise we had was that security would be tackled, corruption, poverty and others would be tackled. But where are we today? Security is worst than at any time in the history of our nation.
“Where are we today? Poverty is so terrible that one Dollar now equals N65 Naira in our eyes. Not too long ago, it was N190.
“Universities are closed, children are at home. To buy fuel is now a challenge. Are we talk watch? God must do something. Anybody who says things are not wrong in Nigeria is a demon.
“Anybody who says everything is normal is an agent of the devil.”
