Col Joe Achuzia, one of the top Biafra war commanders has disclosed the two legacies bequeathed to Ndigbo by the late Biafran war lord, Chief Odumegwu Ojukwu.
He said Ojukwu’s soul is doubtless resting in peace since he has succeeded in bequeathing Biafra and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) to the Igbos.
The party he said remains the soul of the Ndigbos and asked that the party continues to field presidential candidates in future elections in Nigeria if Biafra has not been actualized or restored before 2019.
On the forthcoming Anambra State gubernatorial election, he commended Governor Willie Obiano for living up to the ideals of the party founding fathers.
He said,“I commend Gov. Willie Obiano for living up to the dreams of APGA’s founding fathers, despite the challenges in human management, adding, I implore Obiano as APGA’s chairman board of trustees, BoT to ensure that APGA produced presidential candidate in 2019 general election if Biafra has not been restored or actualised by then”.
