It is thrilling to know that the elites and political leaders of Biafran extraction have risen to the occasion. The Biafran blood in them have finally woken up and there is no denying their ancestral calls.
Senator Ike Ekweremadu had been stoned with bottle water sometime ago for displaying his origin in the senate and he has continued to make his stand known on the illegal incarceration of Nnamdi Kanu, citing as a case of sitting on a keg of gunpowder.
Governor Rochas Okorocha of IMO state has never been friendly with our cause. He had on several occasions abated the demolition of houses used for Biafran fellowship and had spoken ill of the Biafra struggle; But today, he has openly changed his status and stand eventhough we know it is a mere facade, so as not to be left out of the number of political elites who were calling for his release and in order to save face.
He is now pleading with the Nigerian government to ” Release Nnamdi Kanu” because he has done nothing no one else had done but is actually exercising his fundamental right for any minority by asking for freedom. What a twist of fate!
Ex- Governor Peter Obi, has who has also never cease to openly show disdain towards the Biafra struggle has also joined his ilk (Rochas) in calling the IPOB leader’s freedom. Since the agitation has come this far even to the extent of forcing the deaf to speak, i make bold to say that victory is near.
Tactically, two years is gradually rolling by and the war has been so severe that only the highly intelligent will analytically see her values, losses and gains.
The values of been a Biafran cannot be over emphasized. We are a people with rich heritage!
We are an embodiment with activating cultures and ways of life. We are a people of same genes and similar beliefs and we are customized by blood and boundaries.
There is no way, we can be other people from other race but ourselves, our real personalities.
1066- 1970 saw a lot of shootings, killings, starvations and plunderings. The losses were enormous and incomparable to any of its kind. The general genocide committed against Biafran are undescribable, unforgettable and unforgivable.
2015-2017 have seen a repeated pattern of killing the innocent Biafran children, youths, women and men without valid reasons.
The calculated massacre organized by the Nigerian joint military personnel as ordered by Buhari’s administration have killed in thousands unarmed protesting, rallying, praising and praying Biafran. Their only crime was asking for the restoration of their identity which is Biafra.
conclusively, after the rain comes sunshine. There is hope for the living and victory for the dead since their sacrifice has highlighted the clarion call and now the high and mighty among us have risen to the occasion.
The ohanaeze have queued in, traditional leaders and council of elders are championing as well, musicians, actors, lawyers, politicians, etc have all woken from their slumber. There is no going back.
Biafra has definitely come to stay. Detaining Mazi Nnamdi will only escalate the case but never kill or quench the fight.
Release Nnamdi Kanu! Let Biafra go!
