BIAFRA: “I Strongly Believe Biafra Will Come Through Kanu In My Lifetime” -Col. Joe Achuzia

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as reported by BIAFRA WRITERS on the 16th May, 2017, visited the

Ex-Biafran commander of 11th battalion of the Biafran army Col. Joseph Achuzia a.k.a “hannibal”, “Achucriminal” or “Air Raid” to seek his blessings and to carry him along in his plans for the restoration of the sovereign state of Biafra.
The former erudite commander, Col Achuzia in company of a host of other war veterans, applauded Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s tenacious actions and achievements so far, and also urged him to ensure he carries everyone along under one umbrella; not to be ensnared into foregoing the agitation especially now that it is making waves globally and not forgetting that it is the sole reason he was unjustly incarcerated until his recent release.

He continued by saying, “I am really happy and I want to thank your parents for standing by you in all your travails, I laud them for showing such courage and resoluteness.”

Nnamdi Kanu in response answered, “sir, I am very grateful and honoured to be with you today. One thing I can assure you is this, nobody negotiated my release and I did not negotiate with anybody.

“My mission is very simple, and that is to restore Biafra and I believe that is the reason why I exist as a person, and nothing will deter me from doing just that…absolutely nothing will. No amount of pain, hardship, difficulties, ridicule and frustration will ever stop me from completing this holy quest to restore the kingdom of God upon the face of the earth once again.

“We must not forget to honour our fallen heroes who fought for us to live; 30th May is very important for us to honour the memories of all those that fought alongside your noble self and sacrificed ultimately their life in order to secure a good future for us; all of these gory encounter of theirs, we must remember.

In conclusion, Col. Achuzie in great exhilaration responded, “I thank God that a day like this has come and it will be a day that I will never forget.”

He then narrated his sordid experience during the Nigeria-Biafra war (1967-70) and how the British Government carried out genocide on Biafrans, and how he was detained for seven years after the war and never stopped being a Biafran since then.

The historic encounter between both great men culminated in discussing the way forward in this God ordained project (which is not for public consumption), and finally once again expressed excitement over his release and not forgetting to thank God on Mazi Kanu’s behalf.

In final conclusion, Col Achuzia said “I am a firm believer that this Biafran dream will be actualized in my life time, and I’m also a firm believer that the travails of this young man (referring to Nnamdi Kanu) are all over. you Nnamdi Kanu will continue to grow from strength to strength and nothing will prevent you from achieving your aim. I thank you all and pray that from now on we will close rank, because together we unite in closing rank we will succeed. We will not allow any person or group of persons to sabotage, weaken or break our rank. Thank you.”
