The Sector Commander Federal Road Safety Commission Bayelsa state Wobin Ayuba Gora has called on the road users and the entire public for a better understanding in their fight against road crashes.
The Sector Commander Federal Road Safety Corps Bayelsa state Ayuba Wobin Gora made this known in Yenagoa yesterday during this year’s 4th edition of United Nations Global road safety week which coincided with the West African road safety organisation day.
The focus of the 4th UN Road Safety week according to the sector Commander was to increase understanding in the danger of speeding and take appropriate actions to address the problem.
In order to make sure that good and competent speed limiters are used, he said for now there are about forty-six vendors handling the issuance of speed limiting device while about twelve are being screened.
This he said is to make sure there are not exigencies. No person he said will be allowed to install that until he passes through the committee in charge of that.
