The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has rejected the bail granted him by Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court, Abuja, The Cable reports.
According to a family source, the IPOB leader who was granted bail on stringent conditions said he will not accept the offer until his comrades were granted same.
“Nnamdi Kanu has said he will not accept the bail until other persons he was charged alongside are granted bail as well,” the source said.
“You know how he is. That is his decision.”
However, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, Kanu’s lawyer, said his client had not rejected the bail.
His parents Israel and Sally Kanu, have rejected his bail conditions, demanding that their son be released unconditionally.
