Nollywood actresses, Toyin Abraham and Mercy Aigbe, are soliciting financial assistance for Kemi Afolabi, an actress who recently said her doctor informed her that she has only five years left to live.
The stars are soliciting the funds to help the ailing actress who had been diagnosed with autoimmune disease, lupus, get medical treatment.
Abraham and Aigbe took to their respective Instagram pages to solicit support for Afolabi, announcing that a Gofundme account had been opened to support her treatment.

On her part, Aigbe posted a video of Afolabi’s interview with Chude Jideonwo during which she disclosed her situation, stating, “Hello everyone, we need your help, Kemi needs your help and support. In the interview with Me. Jideonwo, the actress revealed that she has less than five years to live due to the illness.
Afolabi revealed that she spent N1.2 million on medications weekly to manage the illness, adding that she had sold her cars, property, and business to afford the treatment.
She added that she had received support from colleagues including Funke Akindele, Abraham and Aigbe.
