Abdullahi Adamu, the newly elected national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Wednesday, officially resumed duties at that the party’s national secretariat, Abuja.
Adamu, who emerged consensus chairmanship candidate at the APC national convention held on Saturday, March 26, received handover notes from Mai Mala Buni, the outgoing chairman of the party’s caretaker committee at the secretariat.
This was during the official handover ceremony held at the secretariat on Wednesday.
The development marks the end of the reign of Buni, governor of Yobe State who has been serving as the party’s caretaker committee chairman since June 2020.
