Contrary to our earlier report, the body of Wale Bob-Oseni, a United States of America-based Nigerian businessman who was trapped in the 21-storey building that collapsed in the Ikoyi area of Lagos State, is yet to be found as at 5:40 PM on Friday.
A family source who confirmed the development to The Witness on Friday, said efforts were still on to recover the body of the real estate agent and others.
Recall, The Witness reported that the corpse of Femi Osibona, the managing director of Fourscore Heights Limited, the owner of the collapsed building, was recovered on Thursday.
Bob-Oseni, a real-estate dealer, was on his way back to the US on Monday when he got a call from Osibona to check out the project.
Both friends were subsequently trapped when the building collapsed.
This medium had reported that the 21-storey building crumbled on Monday around 2pm when Osibona, who owned the project, his clients and workers were on the site.
More to come…
