NITDA ready to partner MSMEs for business growth via technology – DG, Abdullahi

The National Information Technology Development Agency, NITDA, attends 25th Edition of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Clinic holding at the Dome Event Centre, Okpama Road, G.R.A, Asaba, Delta State.

Director General of NITDA, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, CCIE, who is being represented by Mr Bello Mele of Department of Information Technology Infrastructure Solutions ITIS, said that the Agency is at the event to strengthen partnership and provide Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises MSME with IT knowledge to drive their businesses online through the use of social media platforms.

“One of the reasons NITDA is attending this event is to provide an avenue for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) with IT knowledge to drive their businesses online through the use of Social Media platforms,” the DG said.

MSME Clinics was introduced by the Federal Government of Nigeria to bring together key frontline Government Agencies and Stakeholders to interact with a view of removing impending bottlenecks.
NITDA has been partnering with the office of the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo on the MSME Clinic and have participated in all past editions.

The Technology Regulator has provided free domain registration to all the MSMEs participating at the Clinics.

The MSME Clinics is a collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, State Governments, and key federal agencies such as; BOA, BOI, CAC, DBN, FIRS, ITF, NAFDAC, NITDA, NEXIM, NEPC, RMRDC, SMEDAN, SON.
