There are prophets and there prophesies.
However, one man of God who has been consistent with his prophesies is Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele of Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church.
Over the years, the man of God has accurately prophesied about happening both within and outside Nigeria.
Many would remember his prophesies about the demise of Oba Adeyinka Oyekan, death of General Sanni Abacha and the return of Olusegun Obasanjo as President.
Early this year, the 2018/2019 edition of his annual publication “Warning To The Nations”, an avenue through which the man of God unveils his prophesies was released.
A media presentation followed in July of the same year, as Primate Ayodele unveiled to the world the book described as “a collection of divine signals authorised through divine prompting by the servant of the most high God”.
Since it’s unveiling, prophesies therein have come to pass. Chief of them includes those in the financial, political, law enforcement and manufacturing sectors.
Internationally, prophesies involving Facebook, the Republic of Benin and several others have also come to pass.
In the 2018/ 2019 edition of “Warnings To The Nation”, Primate Ayodele prophesied about some financial institutions such as Skye Bank Plc, Diamond Bank, Keystone Bank, Heritage Bank and Wema Bank to mention a few. Citing that the financial institutions would face a challenge or a change in management, indeed the prophesies have come to pass.
Only recently, Skye Bank which the man of God said would experience some challenges that can affect its operations lost its license of operation, as it was withdrawn by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). The bank has since changed to Polaris Bank. On its part, Wema Bank saw the emergence of a new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO) in person of Ademola Adebisi, just as it had been prophesied.
Diamond Bank, the man of God prophesied that the financial institution needed prayer to avoid having problems with the CBN. Diamond Bank was among four financial institutions recently sanctioned by the apex bank for an unapproved transfer of funds belonging to telecommunication MTN.
In the case of Heritage Bank, “Warnings To The Nations” was quoted as saying that “the bank will have problems with some of its staffs”. This also came to pass, as the exit of Mary Akpobome, an Executive Director of the financial institution came with the reorganisation of the management of the financial institution. Several other prophesies including the sack of former Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun have also come to pass.
In the manufacturing industry, several prophesies have also come to pass. Primate Ayodele foresaw the problem presently bedeviling Wale Tinubu’s firm Oando and Innoson Motors which he urged to pray against running into trouble and court matters. The suit between the auto manufacturing company and financial institution Guaranty Trust Bank (Gtb) is still in court. In page 259 of “Warning To The Nations”, the book spoke of troubles for telecommunication company MTN Nigeria. MTN was recently hammered by the CBN for what it considered illegal repatriation of funds to South Africa.
Other prophesies which have come to pass includes the reorganisation of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), the travails of the Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, a loss in profit by social media platform Facebook, attacks on camps of Internally Displaced People (IDP), increase in the country’s external debt among others.
