The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has dismissed a widely circulated UTME result claiming a score of 394, describing the document as fabricated.

In a statement issued via his official X on Sunday, Fabian Benjamin, the board’s spokesperson said the result slip does not conform to JAMB’s official format and should be disregarded.

The fake result, which surfaced on social media, alleged that a candidate scored 394 out of 400 in the 2026 examination.

JAMB stressed that results are currently accessible only through its authorised channels and remain strictly “view-only,” noting that any downloadable or printed slip at this stage is suspicious.

The Board also pointed to irregularities in the registration number format, highlighting the unusual “20269” sequence as a clear indication of manipulation.

According to the examination body, several inconsistencies in the document expose it as fraudulent, even on basic scrutiny.

JAMB urged the public to rely solely on its official platforms for accurate information and to ignore misleading content circulating online.
