Davido has announced his first-ever United Kingdom show titled ‘Davido and Friends’.

The award-winning singer shared the news via Instagram on Monday, revealing that the music festival will take place on August 14 at the Crystal Palace Bowl in London.

The 33-year-old described the concert as “my only outdoor show” in the city this summer.

“For the first time ever, I present to you ‘Davido and Friends’. This will be my only outdoor show I am performing in London this summer. We will be taking over the Crystal Palace Bowl on the 14th of August. Make sure you get your friends down,” he said.

Davido also announced that ticket pre-sales will begin on March 26, with general sales starting on March 27.

The singer rose to prominence in 2012 with the release of Dami Duro, the second single from his debut album Omo Baba Olowo.

Since then, he has grown into one of Africa’s leading artistes and a member of the Afrobeats “Big Three.” His discography includes projects such as A Good Time (2019), A Better Time (2020), Timeless (2023), and 5ive.

Davido is also the founder of DMW, a record label established in April 2016 that has nurtured several music talents.
