The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission has tracked 35 federal government projects valued at N4.6bn across Zamfara state.
Murtala Bankano, leader of the tracking team, disclosed this while speaking to journalists in Gusau.
According to Murtala Bankano, the exercise aims to ensure value for money and effective implementation of projects across six sectors, including education, health, water resources, power, empowerment and agriculture.
He noted that some projects were either incomplete or poorly executed, urging contractors to return to site and finish the work.
“The initiative promotes transparency and accountability in project implementation,” he stated.
According to Murtala Bankano, the constituency and executive projects tracking initiative is carried out in collaboration with the budget office, the national institute of quantity surveyors and other stakeholders to strengthen oversight of public funds.
