Scott Iguma, the renowned Social media influencer, is scheduled to be arraigned today, July 17, before the Federal High Court in Ikoyi over a Ponzi allegation against Property World Africa Network (PWAN).

Iguma, in a video posted to his Instagram page, warned Nigerians to steer clear of PWAN, alleging that the Securities and Exchange Commission, SEC, had classified it as a Ponzi scheme

On May 16, he reported that after bringing alleged victims of PWAN and other real estate companies to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, some firms refunded their clients, but PWAN did not.

He has since used social media to highlight claims of fraud against the company. One case involved a young man who, after completing payment in 2020, was allegedly denied six plots of land and a home by PWAN.

Iguma was later arrested by the Lagos State Police Command ahead of his arraignment, and he is being arraigned today on a 10-count charge.
