Iyabo Ojo, Nollywood star actress and entrepreneur, has narrated her ordeal after fire gutted her office building in Lagos.
In a post shared on her verified Instagram page, Iyabo Ojo disclosed that the incident occurred around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
Ojo expressed gratitude to the Nigerian Fire Service and her staff for their efforts in managing the situation and preventing further damage.
“My office building caught fire. Thank you to the Nigerian Fire Service and my staff for salvaging what was left. Thankfully, no lives were lost. The devil tested us today, but God said no.
“With God on my side, we will bounce back bigger and better,” she wrote
Visuals from the scene showed a fire truck from the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service stationed outside the compound, with water visible on the ground, indicating firefighting efforts were underway despite rainfall.
