Bayo Ojulari has officially assumed the role of Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd), taking over from his predecessor, Mr. Mele Kyari.
During a brief handover ceremony at the NNPC Towers on Friday, Ojulari praised Kyari for his significant contributions to the company’s growth and his dedicated service to the nation.
Ojulari emphasized that his management’s goal would be to build on the achievements of Kyari’s tenure and elevate the company to new heights.
While acknowledging the immense challenges ahead, he expressed confidence in the support of the NNPC Ltd management, staff, and Kyari’s guidance in achieving the company’s objectives.
“I will be counting on your support. I will need it. I will be coming around to seek your counsel,” Ojulari said to Kyari.
In his remarks, Kyari congratulated Bayo Ojulari on his new role and expressed gratitude to the Management and staff for their support during his tenure.
He assured his continued commitment to the success of the new leadership, offering his assistance and stating that he would always be available for guidance.
