‘To mention his name is even a disgrace to me,’ Tinubu chides Peter Obi

Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has chided Peter Obi, his Labour Party counterpart, noting that he cannot even mention his name because doing so is “a disgrace to me.”

The former Lagos governor who spoke  during a rally in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Delta State on Friday, accused Obi, without mentioning his name, of lying with statistics.

Alternating between English and Pidgin, Tinubu said, “The other one, e think say na statistics we go chop,” an apparent reference to Obi.

“He lies with arithmetic and statistics that no Indian can solve it. To mention his name is even a disgrace to me sef. I won’t mention his name… Wrong statistics, wrong arithmetic and warehouse economics. That’s not what Nigeria needs.”
