President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated Engineer Ifeoluwa Olusola Oyedele, a chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) and Executive Director (Networks) of Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC), on his emergence as the “Voice Achievers African Man of the Year”.
President Buhari, according to a statement from Femi Adesina, his spokesperson on Monday, commended Oyedele’s “dedication to development of the country through his profession, electrical engineering, and participation in democratic processes, which includes playing an active role in the merger of the APC, and achievements of the party.”
The Nigerian leader also appreciated The Voice Africa Magazine in Netherlands for the 12th edition of the award, which recognizes Africans who have distinguished themselves in service to their country and continent, and also for choosing Oyedele to present the keynote address at the ceremony that held in The Gambia, with focus on “Reinventing Africa’s Future through Participation’’.
President Buhari equally felicitated with other nominees for the prestigious awards, including President Adama Barrow of The Gambia.
