Mr. Godwin Obaseki, governor of Edo State, has expressed concern over the rising profile of Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party, noting that many young Nigerians are disenchanted and are no longer interested in the PDP or APC.
Obaseki, a member of the PDP, noted that in almost every family today, there is someone who says they are ‘Obedient’, the common term used by supporters of Obi.
He advised the main opposition party to re-brand in order to win the presidential election in 2023.
The Edo State governor also expressed dismay over the inability of the party to win the Ekiti State governorship election.
