‘Awon zero community’- Nigerians mock Tunde Bakare as supporters welcome him after APC primary [VIDEO]

Some Nigerians have taken to social media to mock Pastor Tunde Bakare, following his ‘heroic’ return to Lagos after participating in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary.

Bakare who scored zero votes, was welcome by a crowd of supporters in Lagos, as shown in a video posted on social media.

But many commentators found it funny that he has such number of supporters yet got no single vote during the primary held on Tuesday.

Commenting on a thread of the video shared by the Punch, many wondered how he could have supporters and not get votes.

“Awon Zero community,” wrote razyboyle, @T_BOYLE007

Matthew sledge, @_iam_sladge, wrote “The 16th president of federal republic of Nigeria.”

Akintunde, @dagobert2, on his part, said “Baba ti lule. N100m don lost.”

Also commenting, Israel Ngwoke, @israel_ngwoke, wondered, “What are they welcoming him for, when he couldn’t secure one vote.”

Abidemi Olaitan, @JustBidemi on his part, said, “Wait o are thy celebrating the Zero votes or thy re celebrating cos he bought N100M form.”

Argent, @Homorwummy, wrote, “If he has supporters, why did he get zero votes???”

And him self who gave him assurance to contest.”
