Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu, minister of science and technology and presidential hopeful, has resigned his appointment as member of the federal executive council (FEC), THE WITNESS reports.
Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari had at FEC meeting on Wednesday, directed all members of his cabinet with political ambitions to resign.
Onu submitted his letter of resignation to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha on Wednesday.
THE WITNESS reports that Emeka Nwajiuba, minister of state for education and Godswill Akpabio, who are also presidential aspirants have also resigned.
