The Nigerian Army on Wednesday said 314 suspected members of Boko Haram and the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) have surrendered to troops in Borno State.
A statement by the Army said they surrendered to troops in Bama Local Government Area of Borno as a result of the ongoing offensive onslaught against terrorism in the North East.
According to the statement by the Army, 12 farmers were also rescued by troops.
“Profiling of the surrendered terrorists is ongoing,” the statement added.
