Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a former governor of Lagos State and presidential hopeful, is today (Monday) meeting with governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
This is as the former governor, who had declared his intention to run for president in 2023, what he said has been his lifelong ambition, continues to consult with APC stakeholders ahead of the party’s primary election.
The meeting is coming moments after Yemi Osinbajo, the country’s vice president also declared his intention to run for the highest office in the country.
Osinbajo, who is regarded as Tinubu’s political son, will battle his erstwhile boss for the APC ticket later in the year.
