Kayode Fayemi, governor of Ekiti State, on Wednesday, officially joined the 2023 presidential race on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Fayemi declared his intention to run for the highest office in the land at a ceremony attended by Ibikunle Amosun, former Ogun State governor, among others, in Abuja.
He promised to ensure youth empowerment when he becomes the president.
On electricity, Fayemi who is taking questions from journalists at the time of filing this report, said it was time to get rid of national grid.
He argued that the national grid is broken.
