18,429 persons have tested positive fot hepatitis B and C in Nasarawa state.
They were among the 181, 946 screened in the state.
Out of the number, 4,160 were said to have been screened for Viraemia, while 2, 451 have tested positive and placed on treatment in the state.
While speaking on the issue, Ahmed Baba Yahaya, commissioner of health, said Nasarawa state has a high prevalence of the disease as compared to the National average.
